@bella_goth - Thanks, if I want to add a spellcaster later, I have the set up for it. I'd do so if I could just add one or two of them and not turn the whole save into spellcasters.
Right now, I have two households that live in the village. One is three generations of only women, the grandmother, her daughter and her grand daughter. The daughter went off as a teen to party a lot and was pretty wild. When she had her toddler, she decided to move back to the village. The grandmother mainly raises the toddler and the daughter is like someone who used to party a lot but is now mellowed out. The daughter is a fashion stylist and goes to hang out at the pub sometimes. They look a little bit like they could be witches, so if I switch them over at some point, it would make sense.
Next door, I moved in a young couple with a flustered, nerdy guy and his wife. They're happily married and just bought this big house in a rural village. I haven't really played them yet but they look like academics. It'd be very easy for their future children to turn into spellcasters.
I don't know everything about what will happen there. I do know that the academic will not have an affair with his neighbor, the stylist. That would be really obvious and their personalities really don't match. It is possible that their children might date. I think right now, they are just awkward neighbors in a small village. Affairs happen in my game but not all the time and when they do, they have to make sense for the characters. Most of my households don't have them. Anyway, the new neighbor there loves his wife, he's just an awkward nerd. I could see him accidentally stumbling into the magic realm, I just don't want my whole game to turn into spellcasters afterward.
