I think the story mode is a step in the right direction but like you said OP but we still need more. Memories really would be a nice touch and I hope they come back at some point. I’d love favorites to return as well.
This. My feelings completely. They seriously need to tone down the happy buffs, specifically the happy environmental buffs. If your sims happens to live in a well decorated house, your sims will be happy constantly, which doesn't make any sense. I also agree on memories, favorites and more traits.
