It's an old outfit.
The pride event is a twitch stream like last year with English Summer.
It's wouldn't be an alpine world right after Snowy Escape.

My guesses are GP = bands or cooking or reality tv.
EP = fairytales or farming
Basegame updates = pools, sectional sofas, and more hair colors.

I hope the GP is bands. But there are a lot of other creative careers it could be. If not bands I would hope for architect or interior design. That would go with both the career and the pack being creative, because it would maybe open new in character build tools. Bands would go with the rock out comment though...

For the EP I expect fairies/werewolves. Bonded with nature (shapeshifters, nymphs, etc) and charming (fairy magic). I wouldn't bet money on it but that's still what I think for now. Farming is agriculture, not nature.

Maybe the waves means they are finally giving us swimmable water in all worlds?

Ride 3 waves of basegame updates
The devs have talked multiple times about how much work it would be to make water swimable in all worlds, but they have slowly been adding swimmable water masses to newer worlds and updated shallow water in WC and OS to be wade-able. I don't know if they would add such a big update, but that would make me very happy.
Alternatively, we could possibly be getting a new free world (empty or not) that includes a beach. This would once again be a lot of work so I don't know how practical this is, since NC was basically a tweaked WC. It would make sense to add a beach world to the BG though, even if it's only a small part of one of the neighbourhoods in a suburban world.

On a smaller and more realistic scale, it could also simply be more swimwear, more decorative objects (ex. surfboard wall sculptures), sandcastle building coming to BG instead of requiring IL, more pool objects (slide, pool bar, ladders, inflatables, lounge chairs, beach ball) etc.

Snag a new career with a creative new GP
"Snag" could, imo, suggest burglary (heist GP poll), or fashion designing. Fashion designing is a creative career in the literal sense and "snag the latest fashions/handbag" comes to my mind, while a burglary career would be a creative idea for a DLC since we've never had a detailed crime career.
I don't necessarily think it's bands, though there is reason to speculate with the wording "rock out at the sims event of the summer", the fact that music is a creative hobby and that being a rockstar is "cool." Since GF brought fame and CL brought singing, I'm unsure about how it would be implemented, but the stage has been set (badum dshh) for recycling en reworking already in-game mechanics for bands. People have been asking for bands for a long time, and we haven't had any new music-related hobbies for a few years now. 5 Seconds of Summer is also a band that exists, so you have that.

Bond with nature in this charming new EP
If it isn't farming, I'm flipping tables. But more than my emotional convictions, it would make sense for a farming EP to release soon. We had a farming poll on twitter about a year and a half ago (my sense of time is warped though so ~ ), the release of a Country Kitchen set makes me suspicious that concept art that didn't fit into a country Farm EP was thrown into a KIT to not waste resources, and simmers have been begging for a farming pack for literal years. "Charming," to me, suggests a cute rural setting - it could be an American country pasture setting or a more English cottage setting, imo. Since TS4 likes Bohemian and cottagecore build/buy, I wouldn't be surprised (I'd honestly be very happy) if it's the latter.
Bonding with nature could be bonding with farm animals, Disney Princess style. The gardening system is already quite fleshed out, so I think that focus would be more on processing harvestables and interacting with/utilizing cows and chickens (maaaaaaybe sheep or llamas for wool, but that would force them to allow us to make rustic clothes without the help of Knitting SP). We could also see improvement of greenhouses. I don't think that commercial farming with big machines and tractors would be the focus - I'd bet that it would be smaller scale homesteading and farmer market type gameplay.

I don't think it's fairies, though that possibility shouldn't reasonably be ruled out. I don't know how popular the request for fairies is, but the recent twitter hints suggest that only certain types of sims can go to a new world coming with a pack - fairies going to a magical forest/mushroom realm fits. Bonding with nature is a big theme in popular fairy lore, and their homes are often charming with cottage style stuff, cute nature-y furniture, treehouses and mushroom houses etc. It would thus fit the description.
Imo, werewolves should come first, even though I'm not particularly interested in either.

If the new EP is not farming or werewolves I likely won't get it. I doubt it's time-travel, hotel, generations or amusement park related and those six things are really all I want GP/EP wise at this point.

Regarding "snag" and burglary version... Can anyone confirm if this icon is already presented in the game?

Certain Russian YouTube channel claims it's a new one which was found in the code as a moodlet connected to robbery alongside with mention of burglars. But I have many reasons not to trust them... So I have suspicions this icon is already presented somewhere in game. Can anyone recognize it?

OP, I think you are too hopeful about two events. It's my guess the Rock Out and Block Party Pride thing is one and the same. One thing not two.
Think about it. Pride block party (summer) and Rock Out this summer...pride parade, equals one event about the same theme in my mind. I think it's too ambitious to think they would create two separate events about two different themes.

I won't be surprised if the bond with nature pack thingy is just another OR type pack...call me jaded. Possibly whatever was left out of that pack in 2014.

And I will go even more cynical, the new career pack will no doubt be a pack that adds more names to the already existing photo career parts and the fashion career parts etc. redone and repeated already. I would almost bet money on yet again another career track for the easel which has been overused to the hilt in TS4 as a 'new' career choice just like any fashion or photo opt path they have stretched into several supposedly different jobs. And or wait for it, yet again another career path to include working out and or jogging etc. Woot, won't that be fun. Or yet again another sit at home, and use the good ole pc for a new career. Snooze fests galore...surprise me Maxis by stopping the repeats.

@BookBear Well, I've checked and it's not "Klepto" trait icon neither icon associated with attempt to swipe action, swiping moodlet and for example swipe club activity. But I still have a feeling I've seen it somewhere...

Editing to add - this is Charity Icon with black glove painted on. So I assume it's fake, that's why he made it so bad quality in the video. Still can't get why people go so far with various fakes (((

I think it's two, but the Rock Out event is just something related to EA Play in July.
