Sims no longer eat leftovers?

Not in my games, they've always autonomously eaten leftovers. Until now, that is.

Currently grabbing leftovers from the fridge and leftover decay both work correctly in my game. I must note that I do have some of Little Ms Sam's cooking mods; currently I am using her More Servings Options mod and the No Auto Food Grab After Cooking mod.

I'm having a similar issue. when i auto-solve or their hunger is low enough, instead of cooking, they'll grab a random quick meal from the fridge. They used to prefer grilling but then I took the grill away lol

Does turning that off only affect an active played household? Or NPC's also?

Thanks for this. I also turned off grilling as an autonomous action, but I think a predisposition to grill all the time is a bug that predated the last patch.

This bug drives me crazy !!!! My house is full of rotten dishes ....

My sims are auto cooking meals (usually single serve) then leaving them on the counter and grabbing a quick meal even tho in the past they would have gone for leftovers over a quick meal (esp the children), its maddening.

No, the Sims will not eat leftovers or clean spoiled food out of the fridge automatically.

You guys sound like my r/l family. :D

anybody knows of any mod or work around this issue? It is truly game breaker with this endless cooking and not eating leftovers :/
