Sims Sessions: Your Dream Playlist

I actually talked to the music director for the Sims during a Sims stream awhile back and they say they go for more indie artists for this iteration because I asked him if they would ever ask Coldplay my favorite band to perform. Would be hard to do because of the passing of Chester, but I love Linkin Park too. I don't care for country myself I admit. I'm more into jazz, indie, rock, alternative, ska, R&B, 90s hip hop, musicals, blues, and pop myself. I don't mind classical and I would actually take tests with classical and Hawaiian. I did notice one of the artists they feature Joy Oladokun does a lot of Christian folk songs, so you might enjoy checking out her music a bit more. My grandpa used to work for Capitol Records and let the Beatles in, so if he was still alive he would be in his 100s, so I like a large range of decades of music. I do know Bebe Rexha and Glass Animals and going to post some videos I enjoy by them.

I never heard from the three performers from the Sims Sessions...

There are 3 Radio-Stations I would like to have in the Sims 4:

1.
- Beatles
- Music from the 50s and 60s in general (Rock'n'Roll, Doo-Wop, Beat)

2.
- Simple Plan
- Green Day
- or others stuff in the style of these Punk-Rock-Bands

3.
- And the very best of the 70s, 80s & 90s...you know, the kind of 'mixed tape' you would use for a long drive with the car. :)

Ok...I have no idea why there are hearts on my previous comment...this was a common music genre from the 50s&60ies. Maybe nowadays it is a bad word...I'm not a native english speaker, so i don't know, why it would be flagged. I had no intension to write a bad word...

well now that i think of it most of the bands /artists i like are not something that would show up in sims game :lol:

but I guess in general I would have liked to see some rock,metal or punk or such rather than pop cause idk

somehow festival just doesn't quite feel like festival to me when its pop :sweat_smile:

My musical tastes are all over the place. One minute, I'll be listening to Lewis Capaldi, the next I'll be listening to Blue October, to 80s rockers or even the Bee Gees. I come from a large family with many different musical tastes, from pop to rock, from folk to country.

I grew up listening to Guns N Roses and Poison because one of my brother, Nirvana because of another brother, and Metallica from another. Blue October because of my sister. And that's not counting my parents, aunts and uncles, and my husband.

To answer the question, I wouldn't even know where to start my list. I guess the most realistic option would be Lewis Capaldi because I highly doubt any of the others mentioned would make the cut. I can't even imagine Blue October in Simlish.

Elvis! :love: Though I don't think they can get him to sing in simlish. :lol: Meghan Trainor, Tina Turner, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey's Christmas album, The Hu, Five Finger Death Punch, and Blake Shelton would be nice. My tastes are kind of all over the place.
