Sims Showering with clothes on

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this. Move if it is.
I've been looking around Reddit and here and haven't found a solution to my problem. I haven't had internet on my computer for a couple of months, so I only updated it last night. But, ever since updating the Sims and updating MCCC, my Sims don't try and change out of their clothes before showering or bathing. They don't even try. The just shower in whatever they're wearing and it's extremely annoying. I don't know if it's MCCC that broke or The Sims itself as I updated them both at the same time. I'm so confused and it's just SO ANNOYING. Has anyone else experienced this and did you figure out how to fix it?

    YES! I am actually in the process of trying to find the broken cc for this right now. I suspect it's cc, but even after you remove the bad cc, you might have to use a mod to reset the bathing outfit. I'm using this mod by scumbumbo to reset, but it doesn't work perfectly since I still have the broken cc; my sims still end up with earrings on and stuff: http://modthesims.info/d/541770/outfit-tools-copy-any-outfit-v4.html

    Okay, I'm giving up for now. The glitch isn't happening consistently, so I can't isolate it using the method of taking half of the cc out of the mods folder. I'll have to try another method another day. For now, my sims will be very modest and bathe with their clothing. They do change into different clothing than what they're wearing, though, and sometimes they have ridiculous headwear on when they take their baths, too. :neutral:

    I don't have any clothing related cc in my game and it's still happening. I did download the smaller sensor mod last night, but it works properly on the toilet. I'm not sure that this could be the problem.

    I don't think the cc has to actually be clothing cc. It could be clutter or anything. That's why it's so hard to find. :(

    It's definitely a piece of CC /mod conflicting with it and you'll have to find the offensive piece. Could be a # of reasons. For me? Think it's not properly tagged (as per usual when creators can't tag their items correctly.) May be a skin detail for males even.

    In my game my females aren't showering in clothes, BUT the males were meaning there was some CC for me causing it. I use MCCC to clean out a males bathing outfit and it never returns once it is gone. Still need to go a 50/50 to see what it is, but since I clean out any active sims bathing outfit I never see it again.

    If it's CC, run the sims 4 studio batch fix to disallow CC for shower... It happens when a CC is not flagged properly. For the problem posted by the OP though, I don't have a solution. There is a mod to reset the bathing outfit on MTS, just grab the updated version from the comments section. Worth a try.

    It’s happening in my game too and I have no cc. Not only are some of my households showering with clothes on but they are also going to sleep in non-sleepwear.
