From what I have read, it is apparently really difficult to get views for the sims unless you are a sims focused channel... or you have to deal with it by being a popular channel (like James Turner) and the youtube algorithm is apparently really punishing if you don't publish videos daily. This is why a lot of youtubers are turning to twitch and patreon.
That's not a good combination when you have a game that requires you to make your own fun... so maybe they are taking it a bit easy at the moment and make mostly build videos.
They do seem to be pretty tired of the game though.
