Since Snowy Escape Sims are dressed in cold weather gear upon game start up

What's the temperature? I've been playing a new Sim who lives in the Wakaba neighborhood of Mt. Komorebi. Even though it's spring, the temperature has never been above Cool and has dropped as low as Freezing. Cold Weather clothing is entirely appropriate.

I just loaded some other saves to check. I've found Sims in Everyday, Hot Weather, and Cold Weather outfits, and one Sim wearing her mermaid outfit. Their clothing has always been appropriate for their current weather and/or activity.

I'm talking inside their houses, but yes it is cold.

Yeah, and then they get a moodlet to say they haven't taken off their shoes ?‍♀️ Pretty annoying but I've had worse bugs

What I hope they change is that Sims aren't dressed in cold weather clothing up on the mountain. And if they use the hot springs first, then when they come out of the onsen, they're in bathing suits.

Yeah, last night my Sims wore their winter wear in the house, gloves and hats and all, but went out in the snow in bathing suits.

one of these DLC's, seasons i think has a temperature controller one can put in any lot, it has to be attached to the wall, it is found in the same category as the smoke alarm in build mode. The purpose behind it is to raise or lower the temperature inside the lot in exchange the energy costs will be a little higher.

with that, your sims won't dress up in hot or cold weather gear inside the house as you can control those temperatures. i never build a lot without or or leave a lot with one either, this is so those sims don't turn into ice sculptures, or melt into a puddle of their own making.
