I'm totally excited for this! I tend to use the same med tannish/brown skin tone for everybody because the pales are too yellow and the darks are too purple ashy.
But, I'm even more excited about the opacity slider for makeup!
Now if they'd just do something about those gawd-awful fake eyelashes and ugly hair tone swatches! In my game everybody has the same color hairs, the medium blonde (the least hateful one, that's not greenish or mustard yellow), the first reddish orange swatch, either the brown or the brown with gray, and on rare occasions sometimes the black, but certain hairs are really blue-ish with the black swatch.
