Well, I've KINDA got back up and running now...
Once AGAIN, I deleted the old Sims4 folder, then Copy and Pasted my 2014 version game...
BUT...
I also went to my "Offline" setting, to avoid that Ding-Dang update! 😖
With all of my pack add-ons installed and everything, I ended up playing with a 2017 version!
WHY DID WE GET RID OF THIS?! The BLUE loading screen was so much easier on the eyes (not blinding white!) , and the game loaded much faster (though it might be because I was Offline) !
NOW....
Being "Offline" means that my Sims can only be saved to "My Library" , not the "Gallery" ! 😢
This is the best I can do, until I can get things fixed... 111% fixed!
I'm glad you got it playing! I wonder what the issue is with the new patch though? Could it be Steam related somehow? Or perhaps that save is corrupted in some way.
It plays, but it's not the 2025 version, that All y'all are on. it's 2017. that said, it IS nice to see old faces that I've not seen in almost Ten Years 😮! I've been missing my Sara Jane Sim (last played on 12/17/17)!
