Yet, the store is gone. We have no store for TS4.
I didn't buy a lot from the store because the cost would add up fast. With TS3, I didn't even buy many of the stuff packs. On the one hand, the store allowed for better customization, but it was nearly impossible to share things on the gallery with any of that stuff. All in all, I'm glad the store is gone. I didn't really participate in the forums then, so I can't say whether people complained or not. However, it is hardly useful now what was or wasn't done. There comes a point when people just won't take it any more.
With TS4, I KNOW I've spent more on packs than I ever have in the past and EA seems to have released more packs than ever before. It's getting a bit ridiculous in my opinion. Yet, it is up to each individual what they choose to purchase and what to ignore.
When it comes to packs, EP, GP or SP, I sincerely believe they should all be able to run independently of any other pack and should only require the base game.
