Sooo, when do teens graduate?

Not sure if MCCC is messing with graduation or if I'm just not understanding how to trigger it? I'm currently playing on normal lifespan with custom settings through mccc, and my teen has gone through about 30 days of school. He ages up today and I haven't heard anything about graduation other than the constant offers to graduate early. I want the ceremony at the auditorium though, I don't want just the boring "you graduated!" popup.

Is the game supposed to trigger the graduation ceremony on its own? Has my custom aging settings messed it up? Just looking for some insight. (: Thank you!

As soon as your sim ages up, their graduation ceremony will be scheduled on the next Monday.

    Thats how that works?
  • Weird I have had anything about graduation so my sim has to age up first and then they can? Wish I would have known that cause I don’t know if I want to wait another full week to graduate my sim.

How do you get the option to graduate early? My sim has an A and has the performance bar in A maxed. Her skills are all at least level 5. I even raised the extra pack skills because the option is still grayed out. She aces every exam. She does her homework and extra credit. She's finished 2 teen aspirations and gotten max level in an afterschool activity. I even had her get max in a side hustle. The option is still grayed out and tells me I need good grades and high skills to graduate early. Do you have to max them all? That seems a bit of a stretch if I had aging on and normal lifespan.

When your Sim returns from school, a popup might happen saying with the Sims stellar grades they are eligible to graduate early. My two Sims, brothers, get this on a daily basis, since the very first day in high school. I just cancel, because I want them to experience this pack. I may let them continue until three Sim weeks or so has gone by. When I think I've experienced enough, I'll let them graduate. Although Erik is older than Joey. But, then again, Joey is a Genius (yes, he has that Trait). We'll see. For me I didn't set anything. It just happened.

    P. S. What time is graduation?

6:00 PM on Sunday. It will be marked on your calendar. If you don't get a pop-up notification to attend it, open up the calendar and click "Go to the Event".

Oh, let's hope it's not on the Sunday Erik is up for a Best Song nomination. The Accolades start at 6 pm! Talk about torn.
  • Okay, so, as an aging-off player, I can age my Sims up on Saturday and graduate on Sunday? And their peers will age up too? This isn't a bad thing, just getting my head around it.

Also, if I age a Sim up before prom, will they not be able to go? Prom is... Fridays?

(Can you tell I've barely had a chance to open my game :D ?)
