Spells in RoM = Scientist 'powers' ...?
Lately i have been reading and strongly analizing everything related to RoM. I used to enjoy witches in previous games, but there's something that puts me off in Realm of magic... i don't know exactly...

Because they have a budget not only of money, but of man hours as well. And there are a lot of new animations for spellcasters - especially for the duels. They didn't have time for both, and I think they cut corners on the right side of the equation.
And while a bit of sparkle on Scruberoo on floors would have been nice, it does exist when Repario is used on objects. Also the cloud of black smoke when Repario fails. Heck, that's how I know Repario failed.
Yes @DaWaterRat I am disappointed that we didn't get spells that bring something new to the table like turning sims into gold, freezing time, spawning bees etc.
I believe the Sims team should have enough resources and manpower to do that, since the game sells a lot and they've always been able to develop things like that in the past so why not now?
Also about the dueling, yes sure but it's still a thread about the spells and that's what I'm only talking about.
