I have found myself having to exit without saving since my attempt to subdue the Mother hasn't worked. My O/C got devoured! So, I attempted a different strategy. I had her make three trial inoculations before she left the lab. She tried it on the first infected Sim that strolled into her yard and voila. She had the correct formula. Yay. I sent her back to make three more of the real deal. First go around I had here inoculate two others in her Team and then they went to the lab. I realized while the fight ensued, knocking her senseless again, that the curative had lost its power. Their Captain was infected, my O/C got devoured and her finance stood on the platform all flirty! This was a disaster. I exited without saving. When I got back into the game they were back at the home lot. Yay. Good news for me.
I decided to have them all travel to the lab, first, saving at various points along the way, just in case, and I waited until they were just outside of the door to the Mother before I had her dispense the vacination and recruit the two of them. I'm uncertain if my game is malfunctioning, because the three of them can't all fight the Mother at the same time. So far, my O/C just got knocked on her behind, yet again, and her fiance is dazed. They only have their Captain left to fight by himself. My O/C is on her way to being devoured a third time and I'm growing vexed. What am I missing?
