This season, define what home means to you. Consider the possibilities: a place of comfort, a place of sanctuary, a place for inspiration, or simply a place to store your memories.
Home is where you feel the most comfortable, and the most like yourself. Home is where you surround yourself with the things you love, even if they’re not in pristine condition. It’s a momentary refuge from the chaos of the day, a space to let your imagination run free, breathe a little more deeply, or take a brief trip down memory lane. Find the familiar in the forgotten. Embrace the imperfections, the messiness, and the secondhand discoveries. Make yourself at home in your home.
Reclaim your space.

To me this just sounds like stuff that should've been included in Growing Together. The "Take Me Home" tagline is also giving me this feeling as well as the retro patterns and moving boxes... Gonna hope I'm at least proven wrong on this but it's not like it would be the first time stuff was split up across packs... Plus this is coming Right after the release of GrT, which also split up the infant update. I'm just so tired ? And the "store your memories" line like we didn't just get family memento boxes in GrT as well.
Also none of this sounds like it could include gameplay so... RIP to that as well I guess. I wish I wasn't so jaded ?- Superstara1403 years agoSeasoned Ace

I'm so hoping that the Hot Date Kit will FINALLY have the beautiful Heartshape Bed.
Also, I'm so hoping there will even be a Heartshape Hot Tub. Ooo, La La. <3 <3
Not going to deny, I would buy that, ESPECIALLY if the heartshaped bed + hot tub would give a bigger chance at not just getting twins, but also triplets, or even quadruplets! Could they make this happen? <3 - Superstara1403 years agoSeasoned Ace

4 kits is overkill and I wish they would be open with us about the halt in development of stuff packs. The only kit I own is the one they gave us for free, and I wouldn't be surprised if EA did that to help pad the purchase numbers for kits.
Also part of me is expecting this "hot" update to be the Caliente refresh since they've been very slow on these townie refreshes for whatever reason. I'm hoping it's a summer themed update, but I've learned to manage my expectations when it comes to this game at this point.
Also what ever happened to refreshes? Are we just not getting any more of those? I'm really tired of the lack of communication :/
Yup everything you said it true. It was kind of cool we got that Kit for free, even though it was only a limited-time offer, but I don't see the point of more clutter that will have zero new gameplay in it...boring! :s - GracieFace3123 years agoSeasoned AceCars. Cars can take you home.
- Well there go my hopes for some new functional kitchen appliances. ?
Not a problem though. Still looking forward to new kits. - Superstara1403 years agoSeasoned AceReally getting annoyed at SimGurus and EA/Maxis for not bothering to address whatever happened to Stuff Packs and Pack Refreshes...those were the actual stuff that used to excite me...now we have 1 pack type less as it seems like SPs are dead and they got replaced with Kits...also I am still extremely disappointed how they stopped with the pack refreshes after the very first one, Spa Day! The refresh was so well done in my opinion, they should have did more of them! Or is there more to this than we do not know about? I heard this rumour some time ago how apparently they have simply delayed the pack refreshes and possibly more new stuff packs too, as they have to fix the biggest issues and missing base game content. This is my theory but only the most optimistic one...hmm...so what if they are working on the big missing stuff like cars and possibly some more CAS updates, maybe a color wheel tool for hair and eyes? The Infants update was the biggest Sims 4 update we had in a long, long time, and it was awesome...maybe they have delayed plans for more stuff packs and new pack refreshes because of the p*ndemic? And now they are basically catching up with the base game and the free updates? Hmm... :o
- Unique kits, if EA don't start selling old kits under a new name they have to be unique. As far as feeling the home selling argument, at least my Sims like it best at home. Outside they get hungry, tired and on vacation homesick. I can't see what kit can bring that make Sims feel more comfortable at home. This is nothing I can be excited for
- Sara1010p3 years agoSeasoned AceHonestly I don't mind it being kits for the next few months, considering I will be less likely to feel the need to buy them immediately as they don't add a whole bunch I feel I need in my game. Saves me a little money for the next couple months.

This sounds like only build kits, I was hoping we'd at least get some CAS ones out of the four kits...
The place of comfort could be a CAS kit. Cozy, comfortable, lounging at home outfits.- atreya333 years agoLegendOnly 4 kits and one update? This is the most underwhelming road map so far. Sound like we are looking forward to a quiet spring season. The biggest news is that we are not getting any proper DLC (bigger than kits) for a while. I can't get hyped over kits if they just offer pretty looks and no real content. I would like a gameplay kit though, or even better a stuff pack. Let's hope the lack of gameplay DLC allows the devs to fix current issues or polish upcoming real DLC before release.
The update could turn out to be good. I need more than one adjective to know if it will be worth it.
I am more excited about the laundry list this time around because that promises to fix bugs that are actually bugging me right now.
