@kremesch73 The simplest explanation I can think of is because we also get things for free, which started with TS4, right? In theory, that means that anything one particular player wants could possibly be added in a free update. I expect there to be lots of paid expansions (whether EP, GP or SP) that will add lots of content, it's just hard not to speculate on what might be added for free. Or what we feel should be added for free.
Anyway, back on topic since it's about the starter home challenge ;), I have to say you truly master the art of building starters, mine always end up looking cheap (which they are, of course). Though, I have to admit, the second one you posted, the one with all the white - should I use it, I'd definitely recolour, but that's a matter of taste, white is just not my favourite colour.
Free started before s4, I still have the files I dl'ded for all the free ts1 stuff that was released on the Maxis s1 website. It wasn't a lot, I think about 1 item a month or something like that. Plus the Maxis s1 builds that were on the web. I didn't venture into player made builds or sharing mine until ts2.

@kremesch73 you have been busy while I was off at my weekly dr's appointment. Not just 1 new house but 3 new starters and they're all fabulous. :grin:
