Hi. It's been a few days, and I still haven't settled on which direction to take my story. I've done more work on the original update, but despite numerous edits, I'm uncertain I like the direction...

I enjoy reading about Erik and the Cantrell family. But if writing the story is causing you frustrations, causing you to feel upset and taking away your enjoyment of playing the Sims then that isn’t very good. You, your health, and your enjoyment of the game are the most important things. It is best for you not to be upset. Whatever you decide to do, will be good. If you keep writing, I will enjoy reading it and if you don’t, I will also know that it will ease your frustrations that you are having.
I don’t think that there is meant to be a new patch tomorrow.
Thank you, rosemow. I appreciate your words. I'll give myself a bit more time to decide. The last thing I want to do is give up, while I'm in a bit of a funk. One makes seriously bad decisions when not gazing at the world with true optimism. I'll let you know one way or the other. I will also reread When Success Weighs Heavy to see if it's as bad as I'm thinking it is. Lack of sleep often colors reality strangely, too.
