100% need my sims to be more extra about things. Like, apparently Mortimer and Bella were inspired by Gomez and Morticia Addams, but unless you played with specific mods and used specific actions, you’d never really know it. It’s actually really easy to get Bella to cheat on Mortimer, too. It would make the game a lot more interesting and challenging if the gurus put in some sort of bar that you could pull on that would indicate how loyal the sim would be to their partner. So that way it would be more rewarding to play an ambitious sim who wants to be the top of the medical career, while also Woohooing with 16 different people who are not their wife.

I’d also like a bar that has whether or not the sim is interested in monogamy- it would be really cool to play a sim who is non-monogamous throughout their life, and have partners that consent to that type of relationship, or have a sim who chooses to date casually and have multiple romantic interests before deciding to have one primary partner. It sucks because you’ll try to do that, and the Sims romantic interests literally get so upset- even though it’s a normalized concept nowadays.

I’d also like funerals to be a thing too, so the loyalty could extend to the funeral service- Sims who are highly loyal could publicly decree they’ll never marry again, wail unconsolably, and show up in full widow garb. Or the exact opposite and make out with the deceased’s brother in the broom closet while the service is in session.

I’d also like plastic surgery to be a new career, so plastic surgeons can sabotage their clients face- either if they’re an enemy or if they’ve been paid to do so, or certain sims can get surgery so they look different to others for that enemy returning to town to get revenge on those who wronged them storyline. Especially since some sims in the adult and elder stage might decide to get some work done to look younger- nothing wrong with that!

As well as a new introduction- “introduce as fake name.” Which could also extend to Twin sims who could introduce themselves as their sibling- which could be a light prank that two child sims do to their babysitter, or extend to “evil twin trying to ruin siblings life.”
