Strangerville Weather?

Quick question I have:

I’m getting the strange weather now.. I hope it’s not too strange..

Heatwaves.......... Urrrrrggggggggg...

Strange weather does not seem to be confined to Strangerville. I had the thunderstorms turned off because I was tired of the objects in the yard being obliterated by lightning. If you don't play the storyline, Oasis Springs has "strange weather also" in the form of thunderstorms...and they are not "normal" thunderstorms! I will let everyone discover what happens in the Oasis Springs thunderstorms for themselves. Oh and it happens whether or not you have thunderstorms turned off. If you look at the forecast on the calendar, You will see question marks where the sun, clouds, or rain normally are, those are the days that it happens. Apparently Strangerville and Oasis Springs are not that far away from each other. I haven't noticed it in any other world.

It isn't just sudden changes in the weather...because I have thunderstorms turned off, there shouldn't be thunderstorms in my game if it is because of seasons ex-pack....what happens is that the thunderstorm happens.. and at some point a lightning bolt will strike the yard, and a piece of metal will appear where the lightning bolt hit.

The first time it happened, when the storm was done my sims went on about their routine of life. One sim put the clothes in the dryer, cleaned the lint trap, and turned on the dryer...it caught on fire my sim caught on fire everyone was panicking! You know that song and dance. a little later I noticed that there was a scorched area of the yard where lightning struck...and in the center of it was a piece of metal...I hovered over it and it had a strange discription..it was furium, and the description was that it was fiery and explosive...I clicked on it and it had an option to claim it. so I did, and the strange description went away. The second time it happened, the during the entire thunderstorm, the toddler was sad because of the thunderstorm...during the first one he was not. then I saw the lighting bolt hit the yard, and by golly there was a piece of metal in the yard, right where the bolt just hit! I hovered over it and it was sadnium, and it had a strange description as well until my sim claimed it.

I don't think I have to put spoiler on this because this happens even if you don't do the storyline.

Can you show us a photo of what the strange weather is in Oasis Springs? I wanna see it but I can't go in game.
