stuck in apartment

Question

Hello Fellow Simmers,I have a big problem with one of the apartment buildings in San Mayshuno - Sims cannot go downstairs or upstairs. Whenever I click on the elevator or the building and select "go downstairs" they sway their hands as if something is blocking the path. Is there a way to reset that apartment building! Any help would be much appreciated! This is truly game crippling. Thank you!

Maybe check if you locked the door? The other thing I would suggest is turning testingcheats on and then shift click your sim and reset it. I hope you find luck.

Which building is it? Is bit in the spice market district?Have you tried to see if you could temporarily move your Sims out and back in to see if that would fix the problem?

Thank you All for the help. After some investigation it appeared to be a stuck maid that was an issue. The maid was stuck outside of the apartment, and it looks that it was what was causing the issue. I reset the maid and all started to work :smile:

Thank you Cauli, I did reset all Sims and the elevator with no luck. The doors are not locked and it is affecting actually all apartments in that particular building - all residents living in all 4 apartments in that building have the same problem. So it's some sort of issue with the actual building, it seems. Is there any way to reset the apartment building? Thank you.

Try to not click on the elevator but move down to the bottom ground and select move here. It could also be that the elevator is broken. Just in case maybe check everything that could be blocking the path.
