Stupid things your sims do

As much as I love my sims, they do cause me to rage at them every now and again for the stupid things that they do. I made a new sim, Eleanor Hope and she is the newest sim I have made and is my new founder sim. She was at a public lot and somehow, she managed to get stuck behind the stairs and couldn't get out. Thank the lord that we can use build mode at public lots because I tried every cheat going and couldn't get her out. I had to delete the walls then rebuild them xD

I don't know how she managed this but she did, lol.

Oh, man, this icks me out so much! Go to the kitchen to wash dishes, you goof!

Sometimes they don't even need to go to the kitchen because they were already eating in the kitchen (which has a sink)!

You think that's bad? My Sims sometimes cook in there. :#

I know this thread's only meant to be about TS4, but that reminds me of the last time I played TS2, when Beau Broke went to sleep, then woke up 10 seconds later to whinge about how tired he was. "I know, that's what sleeping is for. So do it, meebling microwaves, it's past your bedtime. ?"

@AyKooChao But walking straight through tables and other surfaces is no problem. xD

Yep. Or sitting down on a couch that has a plate floating above it and getting it (the plate, not the couch) stuck in your arm. One of my Sims did that the other day and he didn't even care. Orange juice has some kind of forcefield-generating property, I guess. XD

Whoa, I've heard of plates getting stuck on your sims' hands but that takes the cake. xD Yeah that orange juice must be out of this world.

It's funny you should say that... there actually was cake on that plate. XD

I've got a screenshot of the Sim with the plate stuck in his arm somewhere (as well as the one I posted on the "Funny moments" thread), but I wish I could've taken it from a better angle. (Someone threw out the plate last time I played. :()

    Ha! Lucky guess!

That's too bad, but it sounds hilarious. xD
  • Same household, different Sim: refusing to go to work because they just have to finish those leftovers from Harvestfest, which they weren't even eating when I told them to leave. Are you seriously going to risk getting sacked over some mouldy turkey?

Even worse, I'd just switched from a different household during his work hours, so by the time he left, he was nearly seven hours late. He spent exactly three minutes at work that day. ?
  • When sims go outside in the rain to cook and mix ingredients to bake when they have plenty of counter space in their kitchen.
  • Wanting to buy a scratching post when they don't even own a cat and have never even considered adopting one.
  • When my adult Sim breaks the dollhouse, and then I have to tell my other Sim to fix it 5 times because it keeps on getting cancelled out because she wants to talk to her husband, who broke the dollhouse.

When my Sim goes to the bathroom to wash their plate.

When Sims turn on the dishwasher to clean literally ONE PLATE.

(Not exactly something stupid a Sim does, but rather something stupid that the game does) When ALL OF MY SIMS have the same sweater for their Cold Weather outfit

When I try to have a Sim splash a drink on another Sim, but the drink is solid somehow.

When my vampire Sim WON'T. GO. BACK. INSIDE. I mean, you're flippin' DYING! Come on, man!
