Suggestion: ability to 'save' an outfit

Hello. Too often I want to put the same outfit on another sim, all parts of it (pants, top, head gear, shoes, socks, etc). But it's such a pain to go into each outfit mode and find each piece for each new sim. Can you PLEASE add a way for the game to 'save' an outfit (ignore whether it's everyday, or athletic, etc), then when you go to another sim you can then select that outfit and it puts all the pieces on this new sim? To be able to have a few dozen saved outfits in this way would be a HUGE help!
Thank you for considering it.

  • I'd love it if this were an option. I've wanted a feature like this a few times myself.
  • That sounds like a cool option, even better if they include an option to save makeup as well.
  • I've wanted to be able to add outfits to the outfit selector in CAS forever.
  • I totally support this suggestion. I would love to be able to add my own looks to the Styled Looks option in CAS. I would also like the ability to copy an outfit across from one application to the other - eg, from formal wear to party wear, or everyday to hot weather. It would save so much time.
  • Yes please. Also, remember in Sims 2 when we could make clothing collections? That'd be great, too. It's nice to be able to filter by packs and styles such as boho and preppy etc, but I'd like to be able to filter it down even more.
  • I use a mod so that all my kids and teens change into 'formal' to go to school and always give them the same school uniform, I wish I could save it as an outfit so that I could apply it on all my teens without having to find each item every time.
  • I agree as well! Was just wishing for this last night while playing. Especially now with seasons, I'd love the ability to copy or save my 'everyday' outfit as a cold or hot weather option, rather than having to remake the whole outfit in another category.
  • We've been wanting that since the game came out - apparently it only works for the devs as they never give it to us.
  • I would already be happy if we could just copy and paste outfits from one category to another for the same sim. This would have been incredibly useful all those times I discovered that the everyday outfit I created would work better as a party outfit, or vice versa. With vampires, you have the option to copy the outfit from the human form to the vampire form, so the ground work for a feature like that is already there, and it's not too much of a stretch from there to a "save outfit" option. And while we're at it, could the same be done for makeup, pretty please?
