I did see the cheat, thanks! I just haven't decided whether or not I want to go that route. I have used cheats for some things, but everything up till now was done the legit way for my main sims in this save. At least now he has achieved the Master of the Sea reward trait, but the mana trait would have been great as an additional reward.
I almost started my sim on the beach life aspiration, but I changed my mind when I saw what the reward trait was. There doesn't seem to be any difference between the laid-back reward trait from this aspiration and the carefree reward trait that can be purchased with satisfaction points. From past experience, I haven't enjoyed reward traits that removes or reduces the needs of my sims as it becomes less challenging, and it makes the sims seem too robotic.
