there was kid riding a horse in steam leaked screenshot
as for nectar I never really asked for it but I like seeing my sim with the fancy glass every now and then and being able to make their own drinks is cool even if i never drink the stuff irl
also it just seems like something fun to do in Tartosa when theres really not much else to do than get married there
really hoping we get cross pack stuff like plasma nectar though in a fancy glass so they can sip some plasma while socializing without turning to guests for food
those bags are always so sus looking that it would feel weird to sip them mid fancy event - GrumpyGlowfishSeasoned Newcomer

Aaaargh! How did I miss that?? I actually saw a sim riding a horse in the screenshot, but didn't even bother really looking at them. That's so cool! One question already answered then. :)really hoping we get cross pack stuff like plasma nectar though in a fancy glass so they can sip some plasma while socializing without turning to guests for food

I use fizzy plasma juice for that. Those bottles may not be the fanciest, but definitely prettier than plasma bags. Unfortunately, I had to install a mod so that plasma juice actually fills a vampire's thirst need, because it didn't before. I hope that will be taken into consideration when it comes to plasma nectar. - DragonAge_300905Seasoned Traveler@GrumpyGlowfish
There is a breed of goats and sheep that are miniature, they're in farms around where I live and in Washington state as well. The miniature sheep around my area have black wool.

https://pets.webmd.com/what-to-know-miniature-goats - I'll be honest, I'm not a horsey person. All power to those who've been hanging out for some equine chums since day 1 though.
However, if this pack shows some kind of horse care / breeder / jockey career, along with the actual horses themselves, then that's a good thing. Good because it might serve as proof of concept for a future car pack:
If you sort of squint at it, and swap the organic bits for machines, you could see how cars would work vs horses:
A separate area for the key feature of the pack (garage / stable)
A career (mechanic / horse breeder)
A method of transportation (driving your car/ horse riding)
Customisation options aplenty.
Hopefully this leads to cars, I guess time will tell. - SimmervilleSeasoned Ace@GrumpyGlowfish Nectar, as we had it in TS3, could be stored in a cellar and value would increase over time. It was a challenge to find a better recipe/combo, make it with good skills and store it correctly. Pointing at the bottle would tell you its age. Good for investors, but also fun for explorers/globetrotters (imagining my sim digging up a very old and valuable bottle in Selvadorada). Perhaps less interesting if playing the average family, but if playing Malcolm Landgraab I'm sure nectars will be an important bit of his everyday :)
- @Simmerville It's been years since I played TS3 but I want to say your sims could make a decent, or even a really good living out of making and selling nectars? As you mentioned there was a lot involved with trying to make the best possible nectars, that much I remember. Gardeners in TS4 could have a field day with this one by splicing plants together to create the best grapes and such.

That's correct. With some planning and a good routine, you could easily make a living from growing grapes and sell from your storage bottle by bottle. I recall it as a life style, and there was always chores and imaginary stuff to deal with. I miss it a lot, but I won't need "100" different grape species to make it work :) "StuffyMarx;c-18278848" wrote:

it might also lead to dragons because if you can ride horses why couldn't you ride dragons :sunglasses:- @Simmerville I'm really looking forward to that part of the pack. I have the perfect sim family to run a nectar vineyard, but I'll have to see how that works out in a rotational save. Playing rotations is something very new for me, up until May of last year I played strictly one save one household. I would imagine progress in the skill would be limited to when I'm with that household so it would be slow. Not a huge problem since I play with aging off.

Then we could finally have a proper sim Daenerys Stormborn of the house Targaryen, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, First of her name, etc. etc.?
