Teen Sim Still in Childhood Phase

My kids aged up in to teens and one of them still has their 'Picky Eater' childhood phase still in their profile:

Does this go over time? Her twin sister also stayed in the 'I'm a Bear' phase until she aged up which was in the Spring of that sim year.

Do these go naturally or is it a bug?

  • Not a bug, but a psychological hangup for life, perhaps! Just the same can happen in reality.
  • I'm not really sure if it's a bug, but one of my teens in my current legacy family seems to be stuck in her picky eater phase. Her siblings have phases for a few days max but hers seems to be permanent. Not sure how it will be upon aging up, as this is the first time this happened. The funny thing is, she maxed out her cooking skill already and makes excellent meals, but when she eats her own meals she always gets a negative moodlet from being a picky eater.

The picky eater one seems to go in to the teens. When she had her first meal as a teen she got a sad moodlet from eating something yucky. Her twin sister grew out of the bear phase straight away.
  • I've had a lot of teen sims who were picky eaters. I don't remember if they got the phase as teens or if it carried over. But I don't think it's a bug, the phase just goes for both children and teens.
  • Some of the Phases are available to both kids and teens. There are also several versions of Picky Eater (4 or 5, I believe) with different foods involved. It could be the same, or it could be a new one.
