I avoid kleptomaniacs. As soon as I find a Sim with this characteristic I avoid them. With the Island this is hard to do - strangers come in and out of the house (which I like). So - what do kleptoman...

@PlainConey - I haven't had a klepto in a long while but I had been careful in asking news Sims about themselves...until I got to the island and now I enjoy strangers coming into the house. No klepto yet...but it occurs to me it will happen. Is there anything they won't steal? Like is furniture ok?
