I love all of the family photos and stories that have been shared here.
When I read the title of this post, my mind went to Sims 2 and the historical remembrance legacy my children and I created when my parents died. This involved many hours researching the family history, talking to extended family, brainstorming ideas, and a lot of custom content that we designed and created for ourselves. The kids and I came up with the ideas, the girls and I designed the content, and my son and I did most of the creating as he was getting heavily into coding at that time.
Then I started thinking about my Sims journey going back so many years to when Sims 1 was released and the terror, horror and joy of my first minutes when I first started playing. Then came the multiple iterations of the various pre-made sims.
Questioning myself whether he was a premade sim, I thought about a 'recluse' sim who used to live off in the woods by himself (Sims 2 I think) - very different to the Sims 4 Deep Woods hermit. Then there were the various magical families, fairies, vampires, werewolves and other occults (or their victims) and the rags-to-riches and 10+ generation legacies and the many other challenges I have played over the years either by myself or with kids input guiding the challenge. My mind is now flooding with memories of so many different Sims families over the many years and iterations of Sims. Of course, we can't forget the unique gameplay that the Into to The Future expansion in Sims 3 created.
There are so many Sims family memories (RL and Sims all intertwined) it is impossible to choose just one because it depends on the mood I am in. I have never shared photos of families or stories in the forums, but once I have my new computer it might be time to start.
There are several stories I have followed on the forums (or streamed), and I look forward to enjoying many hours of entertainment in the future living vicariously through other people's stories and maybe even posting a few of my own.
Thank you for instigating so many happy memories and inspiring so many future possibilities.

Your post about your sims households over the time is very beautiful @OzSimsFamily ❤️ It is full of warmth and contains so many special and lovely recollections and memories that you have had of sims that you and your family have played together over the years. Your sims playing envelops your real life family at the same time, which is very lovely.
It would be very nice to see photos and stories of your sims on the forums if you decide to post them 🙂

My favourite families are those in my Specter-Straud Dynasty.
It started with the drowning of Olive Specter's fiancé and her love affair with the Reaper.
Being a single parent with two sons she meet Vlad Straud and married him. He turned her into a vampire.
They had three children and after Vlad's 'accidental' death in sun light she hooked up with Vlad Bloodvein and got two more children.
I've been playing Olive's and her offsprings famiies (11) for about 3 years now rotaionally and it is still fun.
