Testers?

Was there no way to identify this issue would happen? I may be wrong but I feel like if playtesters were used to test out updates before theyre fully released we wouldnt have issues like this happen where thousands of different users are affected by these huge breaks.

that's literally what i was saying just now, there should absolutely be playtesting going on before updates are released, its kinda ridiculous that there isn't, honestly

  • I'm not sure but I think they did it on purpose to launch their marketplace. A lot of people are really unhappy with the whole situation.

  • I completely agree with you. It honestly feels like the time and effort mod creators put into their work has been completely disregarded. Even regular mod releases usually go through multiple tests before being made public, so the lack of proper testing here feels like a huge failure. After spending hours setting everything up, it’s incredibly frustrating to see it all become meaningless.

  • What makes this even more frustrating is seeing people act like nothing is wrong right now. I literally made an EA forum account and a Reddit account for the first time just to comment on this, because I’m genuinely furious. I’m usually just a quiet player and small YouTuber who makes little mods for personal use and doesn’t even publish them, and I had been working on something for days. Right now, it honestly feels like I need a drink or a miracle just to calm down.

  • They say the patches are tested with all packs.I do not believe that to be true, but that was what was said at one point. You would think they would have asked it be tested with CC. The "marketplace" is essentially CC for consoles and for the PC players that are not save enough to install it from outside sources.
