As many of you know there are outfits in the sims that are locked as a reward and your sim has to earn them by completing a career or visiting a specific festival. And right now the amount of outfits ...

I liked to make sims in CAS so I had a mod which unlocked most of them so I could create what I wanted. (Unlocked CAS Parts by Fogity). Because I'm not gonna replay a several year old pack just so I can make an astronaut or whatever.
And sorry if this is off topic, but I can't believe that they haven't given us the option to have more columns in CAS without mods, you made a great overview of all the outfits in your pictures with 4 columns.
Once I started to use the more columns mod I can't play without it any more. It is odd that the sims team doesn't offer it as an option in the game. The update that allows us to scale the ui would have been a good opportunity to add more optional columns.

That is probably the reason why they are locked. But I am not going to play every career with every sim. I want to be able to use what is in the game. Now if I could unlock it for all households across all save games, then I would be interested. That's how it works for sims medieval where you can also unlock clothing. But in sims 4 I would have to unlock them over and over again for every household. And I have no interest in doing that more than once.
