The Great Fruitcake Debate

I have never eaten that. And I would never even wanted to. YUCK!!!!! I hate candied fruit. Yuck yuck yuck yuck! At least my sims know what's good and what's not!

There has only been one fruit cake that I ever like, and it was my grandmother's recipe. I use to have it but lost it. I have tried to recreate it, but can't.

I love good fruitcake. It has to be not all dried out.

Ooh, that's a shame, some of those family recipes are the best. Do any of your family members still have the recipe?

My mother might, but we haven't spoken to each other in nearly 20 years.

The only reason I don't like it is that once they eat and hate, they will get a social option to complain about the fruitcake and this option is permanent. Which is a no no for me.

I do like fruitcake in real life tho as long as it doesn't have raisins in it. I'm allergic to raisins now. ? But back then when I wasn't, I did like fruitcake.

I’m a picky eater at baseline. (Earlier, I rejected an entire sandwich just because it contained mayonnaise.) My Sims aren’t as picky, but I rarely get a sim that likes the fruitcake.

There is no option for those who never tried it, so I have no real personal opinion on it. But most of my sims hate it and get uncomfortable after eating it. But there will always been that one odd sim that loves it. Either way, they would still choose to eat if it is there and they are hungry.

The only fruit cake I have ever liked is the one a friend of my in-laws make. It tastes more like a pineapple upside down cake mixed with banana nut bread.
As for my sims, they always react in disgust. I usually just have them invite the neighbors in, and quickly throw the cake away.
