The I'm Bored Thread
I don't think I'm the only one. I would like to hear from others like me who are bored with the game and or the entire franchise. I think my boredom is starting to spill over into the entire franchi...

I noticed this a lot more recently with a save I've been playing where I am only allowing myself to control the child of the house. The two parents I do not control at all beyond the initial getting them a job situation. Otherwise, they live on their own around their child.
Besides some hiccups with the dryer catching the dad on fire a few times (he put himself out), nothing bad has happened to either parent, despite me pointedly ignoring them. They are also managing to get promoted in their jobs without my assistance, they have outside friends, they make family meals, watch movies, clean, etc all without me bothering to direct them.
And honestly I think that takes some of the fun out of the little 'challenge' I've made for myself with this family.
