@Cinebar And as previously in this whole conversation, you're moving goalposts and changing the topic.
Both simgirl1010 and I have pointed out that unlike what you said, there are indeed skills in the game that exist and are required for careers and aspirations (something that you already moved the goalposts for from "there's nothing to do but write").
If your argument about the game being bad is based on untrue statements, it's not going to hold up.
For what it's worth: my Genius Sims are attracted to the chess table, other Sims rarely use it. My Active Sims will seek out gym equipment while others barely ever do. My outdoorsy Sims will go talk to plants or tend the garden without prompting, cat or dog lovers interact with the respective animals more, my musical Sim plays the piano or the guitar. This happens across multiple saves so it's not coincidental.
They learn skills faster if they have the appropriate trait too.
Whims is a completely different discussion unrelated to the one we were having about skills and their relevancy to aspirations and careers.
I do understand that you don't like the game. And it's your right to. But what you said about there being nothing to do for Sims is simply not true. Now, whether the things that Sims can do are entertaining is a whole different thing.
