Yes, that's the interaction I mean. The storytelling part indeed is what you describe, without the interaction. For me it doesn't work that my sim suddenly gets angry for no apparent reason at all. Sure I can use it when collecting screenshots, using them for a story, but that kind of storytelling will be completely unrelated to the game then. That's what I meant by a dead stage.
