The I'm Bored Thread
I don't think I'm the only one. I would like to hear from others like me who are bored with the game and or the entire franchise. I think my boredom is starting to spill over into the entire franchi...

I find it so simple. If I get bored with the game, I stop playing. There is no way I'm gonna keep playing and build up frustration enough to make a thread like this. Waste of good time :/
Shouldn't this thread be in General Discussion?
You know what's sad? When someone like me is jumping up and down on the days they added a flea market table, and or the ability to set the table so Sims would possibly eat together at the dinner table like in TS2 and then watch those two features fail over time. I think it's been a least three years since those two features, and here I sit waiting and waiting on something that might make me not so bored anymore, but wait, there might be a few more things that would be interesting to me, only to find out they are broken, too.
I feel the same way. I remember when the game, at one point, worked awesome for me. When my sims were able to dine out and not get up to dance to the music or go rudely chat with another diner they don't know or not even sit down and eat. I was very excited about the features in a lot of the packs thus why I have almost all except like 5. Then over time things just got messy or I ended up disappointed. Now it's tedious for me to get through JUST one sim day.
Three years ago one of my couples were out for dinner, in one of Maxis fancy restuarants. The male got up and went over to another townie couple to talk to the male. My male turned gay. Or mayb it was Bi. He had rudely walked away from his date at the table to switch gender preference. I never used that restaurant again. And I liked that build it was a nice one. He was over at the next table talking to the married couple (premades) and fell for the male. How rude to his date. Never mind I had worked hard to get my two Sims together only for him to ruin it and go after married man at the next table. :/ What was the rhym or reason for that. The townies were married at the next table. I assume they were straight. My male was straight and on his date with another of my own Sims. But suddenly he just switches gender preference. I would like to keep control of this as it took me quite a bit of time to build up that relationship to where neither of them got culled from the relation panel from each other. But the game ruined my plans. I don't mind surprises in these games, but that one was far fetched. ETA: The townie couple also had their child there, too. I doubt he was gay or Bi. But viola! The game decided these two males should dump their partners? This is one flaw I want fixed like since 2014.
ETA: Five years later and players still can't control gender preference.
