I agree. I even noticed this myself before reading this thread. Every EP or SP that comes out has a large emphasis on women's clothing, shoes, hair, and accessories/jewelry, while men get a few. I've been picking the same shirts, pants, shoes, hair, and jewelry because many items are unrealistic or ugly. Facial hair and head hair have been a frustration too as the options are limited and half of them are ugly (the other half looks good). I think there should be more options for casual clothing for men such as T-shirts, Sleeveless shirts, henleys, jeans, khakis/chinos (pants and shorts), and hoodies. Another way to create diversity is to have some clothing be form-fitting while others are looser. I've even taken the liberty of browsing my dresser to find some ideas. I'll have to get back to you on some ideas once I boot up Sims 4 and investigate.
I have no desire to cross-dress my sims. I'm not into that.
Another annoyance I have is not all clothing are realistic. Sims 4 did a better job than Sims 3 when it comes to realistic clothing, but some of the clothing is something that I have never seen someone wear.
