I did it!!
Place 2 chairs in front of and 2 chairs behind the 2 sim slots. It took a little manipulation to get them close enough, yet leave enough space for the sim that is being photographed to get in there. Once you have them in place, it's all good. And you can place a loveseat behind and in front...I guess I just didn't move them completely away from the slots the first time. I used @catloverplayer 's advice and moved in a spare sim for the photoshoot. I cheated up her photography skill. Most important part for posing...freewill off and set a tv in front of the camera so they all stare at it and laugh a little. LOL
