The prospect of using Sulani as a vacation world

I prefer living on the island. I use mods, so I can always pretend it’s a vacation spot if I want to ?‍♀️

I would prefer living there, so I'm happy that it's not a vacation world, but what if they added the ability the own multiple proprieties, like in TS3 Island Paradise? That way you could have a regular house in another world and a beach house in Sulani.

I’d like this. Could be coming in the pack update which should drop next week (usually they drop a week or so before). They didn’t mention the update at all so anything is possible :).

Vacationing first, moving there later. The first sims that will explore the new world will be my tourguide and either the photojournalist or a handful of close friends of the tourguide's.

I'm easy to please, though, and not interested in running a resort. All I need is a generic lot and money adjusting cheat and that is good enough as a hotel for me. I also use normal reisdential lots as vacation homes (moving a placeholder sim into the vacationeers' home for the duration of their absence). It worked for Oasis Springs, it will work again for Sulani.

Well, that's simple. Make the vacation home a retail store and buy it. And thats it. You have your house in Willow Creek and your vacation home in Sulani.

I still plan to only use it as a vacation world and just travel to the beach to chill out so, it's fine.

I posted a thread about something like this. Living in one world but having another vacation home somewhere else.

I hope they add the "purchase additional home" option and/or let use place rental lots in residential world's. This would solve the problem

I like the idea of a placeholder Sim for the "vacation" lot. Not sure I can do that with my legacy families, but it's a good idea.

I plan to have some sims live there and will figure out a way in which to allow my sims to go on vacation there too. Not sure yet how I will, but where there's a will, there's a way!
