I understand what you mean,but base on teasers there seem to going to the life and Death route.Have realistic and fantasy play.Not cimplelty one or the other.
I feel life and Death is not going to be the exception.Because that pack was created recently.
The other reason is how the teasers they same seemed to be a big feature. Instead of mermaids where they were only mention in a small part.
I feel like the teasers feature gnomes way more than fairies. We'll get more clarity when the reveal trailer drops. Ghosts were featured heavily in the Life and Death trailer, while Mermaids were shoehorned in at the end of the Island Living trailer, and aliens didn't even appear in the Get to Work trailer. The amount of attention the occult gets in the trailer appears to be roughly proportional to how well developed the occult is.
That's not good..none of it.
The fireflies are already in the game so I'm not thinking those are fairies.
I'm hopeful that they are saving the main feature for last. Gnomes are not going to work for me. They creep me out.
I have a feeling that the gnomes are tied to the gardening update. In Seasons they come with harvestfest, so maybe they are showing the gnomes a lot because of the gardening update. The face in the tree also looks like a gnome. We already saw that there will be fairies, now it remains to be seen what kind of magic they can do and how they tie in with the gardening.
