What self-respecting kindred would waste time draping a blanket over their prey? Does the hunter comfort the buck after he's stuck him full of arrows? Moreover, how ridiculous would it look for me to stalk the neighborhood with a blanket? It's like Linus as a vampire. Unconscionable.
