You need to uninstall that WaveBrowser. I gave you that site to read all the things to try to get the EA app to work. It's not a good thing to install Windows stuff from non Microsoft sites, sorry I thought you knew that. You need to do a google search for VC Redistributables. Make sure that the only site you click on from that search says Microsoft and nothing except maybe download in front in the link. I couldn't find a download link from the EA help site.
I had McFree in the laptop I bought when my computer broke and I got rid of it. I had it many years ago and it caused problems with getting my games to work. I use Avast, usually there's no problem getting games to work with that.
The origin site I gave you only has origin to download.
I have to use google to search for the BSODs causes and no sound in DosBox in this new computer. So I have to not confuse my fixes for what's happening to my computer and I left out the very important advice not downloading Windows stuff from non Microsoft sites. I'm very sorry about not telling you to never download Windows stuff from non Microsoft sites.
I have installed something called:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022
Redistributable (X64) - 14.36.32532 OR (as it appears in my downloads) VC_redist.x64
Though seemingly hasn’t helped me get anywhere with getting Sims 4…. ??
