Please feel free to use this space to share all of the builds you come up with that make me feel like I must be playing an entirely different game altogether.
Castle Estate Residence š° I built this castle home only with the new Castle Estate Kit. I really like the color palette, the designs and the textures. I love it! ā£ļø

Bluebeard's Keep is a medieval fantasy castle project that I've been working on for quite some time now. I stopped developing most of my 67 castles as soon as Castle Kit was announced. This evening I snapped up both community voted kits and replaced some of Bluebeard's battlements, windows and wall textures with the newer items. It's far from finished, as one can see. By the time it's done it'll be the next Dark Ages.

I was sitting for hours today, and kept bulldozing over and over and so far all I've come up with is a wall and a gate. :D I swear I see new grey hairs popping out on my head!
My plan was to respond sooner, say more than just āthank youā and upload the darn Pirate ācastleā to the gallery when I said I would. Alas, Captain Big Mouth has been in absolute bits, sick as a miserable auld pooch - no it wasnāt scurvy, sure I eat bags of lemonsā¦.aye..perhaps that was the issueā¦Letās forget about it all. Lifeās good when you donāt have to live it on Planet Vertigo.
Iām almost ready to spend more time behind the screen and get back to building and uploading. Oh give it another 500 yearsā¦
I just want to say that all the builds in this thread are truly wonderful, and very inspiring! Great stuff great stuff and thank you! ????
I have updated my rental castle in Henford with the castle kit items. I think it looks so much better, the weathered stone gives it character. Dungeons and cellars also look great. Hope they fix the stairs bannister so it doesn't show through the walls. Also, could have used some more arches with different sizes and maybe a closed version for the portcullis arch.
Oh my, I wasn't fishing for sympathy! Thank you, you're very kind @Simmingal @Ziafar @Monet11 @mightysprite! ??
I learned that the best remedy for my kinda vertigo is to get back onto me ship and sail directly into a storm. The soothing motion of the waves counteracts the effect this rubbish landlubberish weak-at-the-knee-ness has on me... head. Remember, when your head resides in your knees, it is best to find yerself a decent whirlpool. If that doesn't make sense, fret not, I'm still not entirely my old self, although I do feel a lot steadier now.
In fact I've been feeling steady enough today to climb into the Sims 4 and finish my Cheeky Landlubber Lot. It is done and it is available for download HERE! Below is a picture of the final build at sunset, aka moonrise:

To prove that I truly used items from Castle Estate Kit, here's the kitchen:
Look at that wall texture. That door c'est magnifique! Oh and nevermind the dust bunny. It won't be bugging you if you don't have that dusty kit. It's just that my sim couldn't keep the place clean because NO BROOM! ?
The Not So Master- Bedroom, which includes toddler bed just in case someone's up to their aul' tricks again.

The Dungeon. It's not really a dungeon as such, but it likes to think it is.

The Door to...

...the Water Filtration Chamber. That's right, fresh water for everyone! Nectar making can also be done in this room. Keep yer sim's feet clean please.

Also, don't get your sim too close to the moving water wheel that lives below the cistern. As you can see it didn't end well for the former technician...
I made this castle for a challenge, a dating one, and to celebrate love, birthday and everything! (this month was also my birthday number... too many!?)
There are some "Flirty Heart Cookies" everywhere. Remember to put them away before they spoil in 9 hours! ? I find out that they eat the cookies even if they are full!??
Haha, this is definitely one thread I won't be showcasing my builds, not that I actually have any. ?
Really excited though to see what our oh so talented builders come up with.
