I finally bought the pack and created my first fairy and his name is Fabian Castillo. His starting traits were practice makes perfect, erratic and goofball and then he has also made self discoveries that granted him loves the outdoors and mystical. Not sure where he will go with his life as I am just following his lead.

He doesn't have a job yet and has just been fishing. He met my sim Lane when he went to Sulani to fish because it was too cold and snowing in Inisgreen. Lane was kind to him and taught him how to fish better. They really hit it off and became best friends. From their conversations Lane knew that Fabian was fishing primarily to pay his bills so he put a fairy home on his lot so that Fabian would feel welcome to visit and make himself at home any time he wants or needs to. Fabian also introduced himself to Lane's raccoon Twiggy and it seems a friendship is forming there as well. 

So I am curious as to whether all of you are having your fairies get jobs or go to the university or are you more interested in just living life and seeing what happens? I am not sure I am feeling the whole job thing with this guy. That is why I am just doing basic stuff with him and see if he will give me an indication of where he would like to go in life. If he doesn't I believe I will have him go to university for a botany degree and then a conservation career since I have not had any sims do that yet. 

Fabian is a handsome fairy. I hope that his life as a fairy goes well 🙂It is great that he has become best friends with Lane.
My fairy sim is just enjoying her life as a fairy without having a job.

Nightgypsy​ have you considered the Naturopath career? My sims is not a fairy but she's having a lot of fun with it.

Nightgypsy​ I hope you enjoy the pack! Love your fairy. Great wing colors and design. He even has a green tattoo. What a fashion sense! And that matching watering can on his head? Inspired! 😀 

AHA!!!! That sounds perfect for him!! He has been freelance programming so that he can win a computer at the next Geekcon hopefully.  And the programming gigs made him some good money so now he isn't worried about paying the bills but that is not the life for him. The Naturopath career is definitely up his alley. He has been getting calls and people coming over to get watered and have fury removed so he is already helping people and I accidently discovered with him a skill that lets him sleep on the ground and such so he is well advanced in that and apothecary skill. he found a table in the fairy area and when he goes to pick up his daily fairy dust he will practice on the table once or twice . So thank you, I did not know about this career. The only thing I wonder that I didn't read on the page you linked is if he can do it as a home business rather than have a job with a schedule and requirements. Maybe it wouldn't work out how I want anyway as a home business. I have a sim with a tattoo shop she runs at home. I started it with the thought that when I am playing my other households, that I could travel with them to her tattoo shop and get tattoos done. But that does not seem to be the case. I am guessing it would work if she opened an actual tattoo venue. So maybe he could do that. But regardless, this is the career for him me thinks and I will figure it out. lol that watering can was an unexpected find! Normally I would not have blinked twice before moving on as I would never dress my sims in crazy stuff. But considering his traits and the coloring and the strange shirt that I could not see any sim wearing, ever, it just sort of screamed at me. And honestly, it works. He is always talking to himself and going outside to "talk to his friends" which is apparently the grass and bushes. I totally filled up his everyday outfits and he does switch off and on but he seems to prefer his watering can lol. So my lesson learned is, never say never. I am really enjoying him. :)

oh and i am going to have to look for this tattoo you say he has. I did not give him one and he was created in cas so now I am curious. Though if you're talking about that green thing on his shoulder, it is part of that crazy shirt I gave him.

Ah ha! Yes, I see that now. I recognize the shirt...part netting, right? I think I had one of my sims wear that shirt a few years back. Can't remember for what reason. It's a great look for your fairy though! 😁 

EDIT: I just remembered who wore that net shirt. I was thinking it was a werewolf, so I tried to track him down. And I was right. Here he is: same shirt, different color. 

It looks good on your sim too. I like his whole outfit actually. I'm not sure I would in human form bc I am not a big fan of that type of pants but they actually look good there and not annoying. I kind of get a pirate werewolf vibe from him :)
