The Sims 4 Expansion Packs ranked

Must Haves for me in no particular order

1. Seasons (Sunny everyday is boring)
2. Get Together
3. Island Living  (a disappointing pack in general, but the only option to live on the beach/over the water)
4. Life and Death (new pack but very much enjoying. Finally cemeteries!)

The rest I enjoy having in my game also with the exception of For Rent and Snowy Escape. The world in For Rent is so small and disappointing and I just dont use the rental system. I don't know why I even bought Snowy Escape. I hate winter and snow and the last thing I want to do is have my Sims visit a snowy place 🙃

The first five are my essentials, I couldn't play without them, I would only add a sixth essential if they release a Bands/Showtime expansion

Tricky, because I still haven't played Horse Ranch and For Rent - got both on sale but other than a few CAS and build items, I didn't do anything with them. So I'll exclude them from my ranking :)

A few of them are really on par with each other, like Snowy Escape and Island Living, or Discover University and HSY. 

All packs are rated mostly based on gameplay. I don't own Lovestruck yet, so can't rate it. Think it's gonna be pretty good though. I kinda like all the packs, no regrets buying them.

1. Horse Ranch (I waited for horses for so long!)
2. Seasons (weather is essential)
3. Life and Death (funerals, better ghosts)
4. Growing Together (midlife crisis, better infants)
5. Cottage Living (chickens and the whole theme)
6. Get Together (club system is still great but I use it less these days)
7. City Living (love the festivals always)
8. Get Famous (fame gameplay is good)
9. Snowy Escape (hiking routes, theme)
10. High School Years (prom and other teen things)
11. Island Living (beach)
12. Get to Work (retail, police career)
13. Cats and Dogs (has cats and dogs but they're annoying)
14. Eco Lifestyle (cool idea but don't play much)
15. Discover University (hate the gameplay but servos are good)
16. For Rent (I do like splitting lots for multiple households)

It's really hard to rank them, because I like them all quite a lot. Today I felt like this:

• Seasons (I like seeing seasons change in my game, holidays and seasonal activities are nice!)
• Horse Ranch (horses and nectar making are really nice!)
• Get Together (I love the world, club system is nice and nightclubs too)
• Cottage Living (I love the cas and bb, the chickens are nice and cross-stitching too)
• Get Famous (the fame gameplay is nice, acting career is okay)
• Snowy Escape (I love rock climbing! hiking, sledding and skiing are pretty nice too)
• Island Living (I love the beach activities and the world, though I wish there was more to do, mermaids+, though they could be better)
• Discover University (I don't play it often, but I do like it! The shower woohoo is the best)
• City Living (the apartments are nice and the festivals too, but I don't play them much)
• Life and Death (still haven't played it enough to really rank it, better ghosts+++, but I haven't tried them yet D: will most likely rank higher when I have played it more, the bb is so pretty!)
• Lovestruck (I feel like I still haven't played it enough to really rank it, but I like the new dates and relationship things)
• Cats and Dogs (I don't have many pets, but I love a couple of them a LOT)
• Eco Lifestyle (I still haven't played NAPs and it's just kinda meh)

I don't own (but would purchase in this order):
Growing Together (bb and relationship things)
For Rent (marbles and hopscotch)
Get to Work (baking and aliens, I dislike the illnesses)
High School Years (cas and bb? I dislike the gameplay)

1. Cottage Living - I love everything about this pack, the animals, Henford-on-Bagley, the new harvestables, canning, simple living, cross-stitch, the craftable treats, errands
2. Get Together - the Club system, Windenburg
3. Seasons - weather, gardening (when it works), holidays
4. Get to Work - retail & occasionally the active careers
5. Eco Lifestyle - the crafting skills, community spaces, the off-the-grid additions, the additions to gardening
6. Horse Ranch - horses, mini goats & sheep, nectar, Chestnut Ridge
7. Discover University - degrees
8. Cats & Dogs - cats & dogs, Brindleton Bay
9. City Living - festivals
10. Snowy Escape - the winter sports skills, mountain excursion, Mt. Komorebi
11. Growing Together
12. Island Living

• Life & Death - This is the only EP that I don’t own that I really want. I suspect that when I eventually get the pack it will rank somewhere near the top.

Oh I forgot about simple living! It is a great lot challenge 😊 I haven't properly tried canning yet.
