What you liked

  • The animations are vivid, varied, and detailed.
  • Love the autonomous detail within relationships - Sims care about each other, and show it!
  • Can't wait to use build mode to its fullest now that I can fix my constant room- and house-placement mistakes.
  • CAS is a terrific improvement.
  • Pregnancy! Almost too real.
  • Jobs are harder, and so are bills. No more rich-within-a-generation-without-even-trying!
  • So fast to save!


What you didn't like

  • The resetsim cheat won't get me out of problems that I expected it to (reported in the bugs topic, re. a newly aged-up child who wouldn't appear).
  • The loading screens during travelling feel longer than they are because there's nothing to entertain me while I watch them; maybe show me the place I'm going?
  • I miss some of the job options, like Business and Politics and Education. I suppose I can keep Sims at the lower levels of careers to simulate "boring"/everyday jobs, but I still feel that those career paths are noticeably missing from my options.
  • My new mom Sims can't take maternity leave :(
  • Even though I didn't like the Sims 3 toddlers, it really is disconcerting to go straight from baby to child.


    Suggestions?

  • When toddlers get added, please don't make them just lots of work or playing with the same one toy all the time, like in Sims 3! I miss that stage but I'd like it to be really vivid so it's worth playing.
  • I'd like more choice of eye and hair and wall colour. (The clothes colour choices I'm okay with -- but paint comes in hundreds of colours in the real world, not just the few on the rack.)
  • When you add a college EP, please make it so Sims can live at home and commute to school, or go to school part-time while they are adults!
  • Please add part-time jobs for adults.
  • When you add pets and supernaturals, please let us pick and choose which ones appear in our world and which ones don't.


    Overall thoughts?

  • Lots of gameplay and "stuff" here to keep me going till EPs I'm keen on come out!
