Things I like:
Create-A-Sim, I love being able to do so much more with my sims looks than before. It made detailing so much easier, and I could make sims that look amazingly like my bf and I.
I like the feelings, gives my sims more life-like lives. I also like the aspirations, the multi-step to completing makes aspirations worth achieving. I like the school/job stuff more now too. The pay-per-hour is more believable and getting a promotion takes so much more effort.
Build mode is easier, buy mode is awesome with the search item feature. The kids' toys are awesome, a life-like sized dollhouse is a better look than the miniature styles in TS3.
Things I don't like:
No pools (yah I get there's an expansion), toddlers (same as pools) are taken out, you can't "be" or control the baby to check it's needs, making friends at school/connections at work lowers performance, create-a-style is gone from the CAS, Maybe it's just me, but I can't figure out how to put in new lots in town, something I enjoyed in TS3. Fewer hair/clothing options
Suggestions: Expansions are great, but really, it lacks so much after spending so much for TS3, that it's almost like down grading, despite the better features. I would suggest more. More hairstyles, and clothing, pretty much more of the little things.
Overall: I enjoy it, like all the other Sims games before it (I've played since The Sims), though it's lacking just a bit in the options that TS3 had, making it seemingly anti-climatic.
