I'm not a hardcore Simmer but I've played 2, 3 and now 4. To be honest, I was very nervous about 4 because of the bad launch of SimCity. However, I have to say, that I really, REALLY, love the game play changes you made in 4. My don't like list is really short since I understand that the Sims 4 is a franchise game and will have to keep some content on reserve for those money making DLCs.
Things I don't like:
-no option to build basements
-could have used a bit more clothing options
Things I like:
- Multitasking - Makes it so much better! Much more realistic.
- Emotions - a very nice touch.
- Seamless (semi) movement around town and lots
- Semi-open world with treasure maps, exploration, and all kinds of hobbies for Sims to do
- Building module - Epic. Easy, intuitive, and has tons of great style and object choices for a base game
- CAS - Again. Amazing. Very detailed creative tools for making your Sim the way you want them
- Color choices - The color choices and patterns in this game for each object is nice and adds millions of combinations to the game
- Video Recording integration/screenshots - Haven't played with this feature much but at least it tells me you know your audience and catered to them having the ability to tell their stories and share their creations!

Also as a side note, I'd be inclined to partake of a season pass type of thing if you offered it. I heard rumors you were thinking on doing that like Battlefield Premium.
