To add to this. I tried exercising to help my sim lose the weight my sim was level 5 and was still fat. I ended up drinking a potion i bought with my rewards to slim down. Then when i started digging she became a she-hulk after digging a few times. To remedy that I just stopped digging and gave it a few sim days, she went back to being just slender.
