Things I like:
*The added options in CAS in making Sims, the slider for body shapes is great.
*some new career choices and character traits.
* the smoothness of the game play over the Sims3 is so much better.
*once I played it for a few days the speed of screen & game loading is so nice.
* the building and buy mode I like how you have the option of category or by room to find items. The new build changes take some getting used to but the more I use them the easier it gets (and the more I like them).
*I love the new interactions between parents and children, Sim & Sim there are so many new ways to interact
*love the option to age up with a cake at anytime.
*multi tasking is great, my sim drank juice on the toilet LOL
Things I don't like:
*teens and adults look exactly the same. My one couples girl looks like and old woman???? her features are way to mature for you to think she's a teen.
*with all the great things you can do in CAS why are they all the same height?? there should have been a height option, like on walls short / medium / tall would have solved this.
* No ability to choose our own color options on clothes and furnishings??? WHY??? you should have at minimum given us the SAME LIMITED choices in all items. Some people like things to actually go together.
*No family tree???? WHY? I thought from all the video releases leading up to this talking about how The Sims4 was more sim based there would have been better advancements and less steps backward.
* toddlers are a love hate thing but I do miss the option of teaching them.
*clothes options are terrible, very old looking.
** time goes too fast and all I'm dong it working skills/cooking/eating/bathroom stuff not enough time to do anything else.
***hair options are terrible, all the years that I've played since the sims1 I have never understood why so many fan sites can do such a better job at hair then the creators of the game. You give and then continue to create the most terrible hair styles, shame on you for $70
Game glitch
*I have had 2 families that I played for hours just Disappear, the game says the household is there but no people in it. The same thing happened in the 1 or 2 before you fixed it.
* no name change when getting married.
*dishes stuck in hands.
* when eating and talking (multi tasking) they tend to stop eating and it takes too long for them to finish.
overall some of the changes are or could be good but it feels short changed. I understand it's different then 1,2 & 3 but on many levels I feel,
I PAID WAY TO MUCH FOR FAR LESS base items in game. I understand this is a business and looking at my shelves of all the sims 1,2 & 3 games and the total cost over the years for all the custom content you should not have put this out with sooo many shortages!
***** you need to patch some of the major stuff to us without any additional cost, we paid a lot already *******
