I have never had representation in any Sims game or any other game. But that's just fine with me. Why would I want a deaf Sim with a cochlear implant? I have never even wanted to make my "simself". I'm not a sim in the game, I'm their goddess. As their goddess, I want them to have good lives and to make any of them deaf would feel mean and like I was setting them up to fail right from the start.
On top of that, EA would probably do it all wrong anyway. Just like they're doing it wrong now. I just want more gameplay as others have already stated.
If they end up making some people happy about the changes, that's great! Even if I will never understand why some people would choose to be a sim rather than be the sim's god. But what about all of us that would rather have some meaningful gameplay? I mean, this is a game. It sucks that I have to use mods just to get them to not act like the brainless people from Wellington Wells in "We Happy Few".
