that is exactly how it worked for me. While I was sitting and pondering why it didn't complete, moved the stuffy a few times. Then suddenly it completed. Just took a while to register for whatever reason.
It's not just the event goals that are slow to register. I don't know if anyone is having this issue, but it takes a while to check off aspiration goals as well. I've noticed this because I'm constantly switching back and forth between aspirations to collect points.
